Gina Rae La Cerva is a geographer, environmental anthropologist, and award-winning writer based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She is the author of Feasting Wild: In Search of the Last Untamed Food, which mixes memoir, travelogue and in-depth research to examine our relationship to wild food, environmental history, and lost knowledge. The book was chosen by the New York Times for their Summer Reading List, and Amazon has selected it as A Best Book of the Year in the cooking, non-fiction, and science categories.
Gina Rae is presenting a paper this year about the wild world of herbs and botanists in early modern England. She is so thrilled to participate in her first symposium and can’t wait to come back again.
