I am a recent graduate from Harvard University, where I studied History & Literature with a focus on the food history of the British Empire. I wrote my thesis on the history of the potato in India. Last year, I was a fellow with the Folger Shakespeare Library’s Mellon-funded “Before ‘Farm to Table’: Early Modern Foodways and Cultures” project, as well as with Dumbarton Oaks’ Mellon-funded “Plant Humanities Initiative.” Next year, I will pursue a Master’s in South Asian Studies at the University of Cambridge as a Cambridge Trust and GK Roth Scholar.
